The people have spoken, and 13.5 out of 15 people do not twist their deodorant and chap stick up and down. 13.5 people, you say? Well, Ouida and I wondered today at work if it was a family trait...so we immediately headed to Kendra's desk and made her put chap stick on. Kendra thought our request was totally weird and thought we were playing some cruel trick on her. But she opened it, twisted it up, applied, twisted it down, and then closed it. She doesn't do that with her deodorant though. So 13.5. (And this may be hereditary.)
It's the most wonderful time of the year.

ginger you have to talk to me about the spoons you got for J.
ReplyDeleteSo how do you get half of a person voting? 13.5?
ReplyDeleteI have to throw a shout-out to my sister - even if she only counted as half a vote, it gave me some company. I still cannot believe no one else in the poll does it though??? Go ahead and get product on the lid!!
ReplyDelete13.5...Kendra voted that she did twist. But since she only twists chap stick and not deodorant, she doesn't count as a whole vote.
ReplyDeleteOuida - anthropologie - I think I might go get a set for myself. I'm actually a little surprised that I didn't do that the first time I was there.
Christopher - that's fine...go ahead - spend over two work days of you life twisting deodorant. When our children ask where their father was while they were growing up, I will show them this post and explain.
Bwahahahahaha!
Well I asked Corey about this poll and he does't twist, unless it is necessary, and his response was... "that is soooo Nixon that does the twisting up and down!" I thought it was funny because I had Ginger pegged as the twister!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that I could participate in this poll. I can't remember if I have always twisted the chap stick. For the last 4 years, it has become a necessity due to the habits of a certain baby girl. But, perhaps it is hereditary.
ReplyDeleteI do know that I do not twist deo back down - it doesn't need it - it went under my arm =).
