My friend Ouida posted a list of 11 reasons to love the fall. They were great reasons, but I think she might have left off one of the best reasons of all…PUMPKIN PIE! In my humble opinion, it's one of the best kinds of pie.
Additionally, I would like to add: 1) Candy corn – sure, it’s not the most delicious candy in the world, but it is one of the most attractive. It’s one of my favorite Halloween decorations. 2) Apple Cider. And mulled cider…with rum. 3) The smell. Sure, it’s rotting, decomposing leaves, but they smell wonderful! I can’t think of any other decomposing object that smells as good. (Eeeeew.)
